Finishes we print
Dark Forest decks come in six finishes: gold rainbow foil, holographic crystal foil, printed gold-tone ink, plastic lamination, matte anti-scratch lamination and linen card.
- Gold rainbow foil is a foil in which the gold shifts to rose, green and violet. It is used on Moonlight Celestial Deck (with glossy anti-scratch lamination) and on Gold Rainbow Foil — 1909 Classic Art (with matte anti-scratch lamination). See the foil tarot cards collection.
- Holographic crystal foil is used on one deck, Holographic Crystal Foil — 1909 Classic Art, together with anti-scratch lamination. See the holographic tarot collection.
- Printed gold-tone ink means warm gold and solar tones printed in ink, not foil. Sunlight is the deck that uses it.
- Plastic lamination is a protective, wipe-clean, anti-scratch plastic layer on the card. It is used on Pink Moon, Moon Magic — Plastic Laminated and Sunlight. See the plastic tarot cards collection.
- Matte anti-scratch lamination is a non-glossy protective layer. It is used on Borderless Vintage — Light Edition, 1909 Classic Art, Borderless Vintage — Dark Edition, Gold Rainbow Foil — 1909 Classic Art and Tarot de Marseille — Vintage Edition; the German Learning Deck and French Learning Deck have matte protective lamination.
- Linen card is used only on Moon Magic Eco Linen, a matte, tactile card.
