Resale rights
Can You Resell Wholesale Tarot Decks? Resale Rights for Retailers
Yes — resale is unrestricted. Current terms state plainly: "You may resell goods you purchase and set your own retail prices." There is no published restriction on marketplace resale, and that includes Amazon and Etsy by name.
The resale terms, in full
Dark Forest's published order terms state: "You may resell goods you purchase and set your own retail prices." That single sentence covers both halves of the question a reseller actually asks — whether they can resell at all, and whether they control the price they resell at. Both are yes, with no separate application or resale license required.
Can I resell on Amazon or Etsy?
Yes. The resale terms carry no marketplace exclusion — Amazon and Etsy resale are both explicitly included, not merely left unmentioned. This is a genuine differentiator in this market: at least one named competitor in the wholesale tarot space bans marketplace resale outright, which forces a retailer sourcing from them into brick-and-mortar or their own website only.
Do I have to follow a suggested retail price?
No. The terms say you set your own retail prices — there is no minimum advertised price policy or suggested-retail-price requirement published today. Dark Forest's own finished decks retail at $34.99 to $44.00 on its own shop as a reference point, but nothing obliges a wholesale buyer to match that figure.
Why this is worth checking before you buy wholesale
Resale terms vary enough across this market that a reseller cannot assume marketplace resale is automatically included with any wholesale supplier. Confirming it in writing before committing to a 12-deck order removes a real, not hypothetical, risk — inventory bought for a resale channel that turns out to be banned by the terms.
What resale does not cover: dropshipping
Resale rights and dropshipping are different questions. A reseller stocking and shipping inventory themselves is covered by the resale terms above. A reseller who wants Dark Forest to ship straight to their end customer is covered too, but by a separate program: dropship tarot cards, with its own price and its own terms, not the wholesale resale terms on this page.
The minimum order to start reselling
Wholesale pricing starts at 12 decks, $15.90 each, $190.80 in goods — no trade account or application step. Stock and Made to Order editions can be combined to reach the 12-deck total, with each selected in-stock edition needing at least 5 decks.

Resale rights are one half of the question; getting to the trade price in the first place is the other. There is no application and no resale certificate needed here — see buying tarot wholesale without a business licence.
