Lead time: 3–4 weeks (15–20 business days) after artwork approval.

What to compare across quotes: here the printed box and the 48-page rules booklet are inside the per-deck price, the 60 cards come in the compact 50×90 mm or the common 63×88 mm size at the same price, and insured delivery is the one separate line.

What the price includes

  • 60 cards printed from your files with a shared back, in 50×90 mm or 63×88 mm at the same price.
  • A printed folding box and a 48-page printed rules booklet. If your rules live on the cards or the box, drop the booklet in the configurator and the price falls.
  • A digital proof you approve before the press runs. The decks are made in Ukraine.
  • Not in the price: insured delivery (quoted to your address), taxes, game design or illustration, and tokens, dice or other components. We print cards, a box and a booklet.
  • Honest about scale: this is the route for 12 to 192 games, such as a prototype run, a crowdfunding sample batch or a first retail run. It is not the cheapest way to print thousands of units; at that volume a large factory will quote lower per deck and ask for a much bigger commitment.

How a run works, and how long it takes

  1. Price the deck in the configurator or ask for a quote (answered within 24 hours on business days).
  2. Send print-ready files: 2 mm bleed on every side, 300 DPI, faces first and backs second. There is no online editor; we print files.
  3. Approve the digital proof. Only then does production start.
  4. Production takes 3–4 weeks (15–20 business days); the run is made in Ukraine. Delivery is insured and billed separately.

Layout help if you want it: box $50, shared card back $50, booklet $150, all free from 60 decks. Ready files and minor logo, company-name or QR-code edits are free.

Who this is for

The tabletop designer who needs a real number before a crowdfunding launch, a small publisher testing a title in a hundred copies, a brand making a game as a gift. Ordering 100? Orders run in dozens, so 100 rounds up to 108 and is billed at the 96-deck price shown in the table.

A plain 54-card deck without rules is a different page: custom playing cards. The worked cost guide is custom card game printing, cost and minimum order. For decks of other kinds see oracle, affirmation and tarot.

Common questions

How much does it cost to print a custom card game?

A 60-card game with a printed box and a 48-page rules booklet is $14.67 a deck at the 12-deck minimum ($176.04 of goods), $9.34 at 24, $7.71 at 48 and $6.97 at 96. A run of 100 rounds up to 108 decks at $6.97 each ($752.76). Delivery is extra. These figures are from our live calculator on 4 November 2026.

Is this the cheapest way to print a card game?

No, and it is not meant to be. At thousands of units a large factory prices lower per deck. This route is for 12 to 192 games, with a digital proof, a printed box and booklet, and no large commitment.

Which card sizes can I use?

The compact 50×90 mm and the common 63×88 mm cost the same here. The standard 70×120 mm and custom sizes also work, and any card count from 30 to 1,500 is priced.

Is the rules booklet required?

No. It is included in the price shown because most games ship with one. Drop it in the configurator if your rules are on the cards or the box, and the price falls.

What is the minimum, and how long does it take?

Twelve decks, in multiples of twelve up to 192 per run. Production takes 3–4 weeks (15–20 business days) after you approve the proof. Payment is in advance and delivery is extra.
