To print tarot cards you have two routes: print sheets at home, or have the deck professionally printed. This guide covers the second route step by step, from the print file to delivery in Germany or Austria. A deck of your own with 78 cards and a box starts at 12 decks and costs 15.90 EUR per deck, plus delivery and tax. After you approve your artwork, production takes 3 to 4 weeks, followed by 7 to 10 working days of transit.
Print it yourself or have it printed?
An office printer gives you sheets to cut: fronts and backs rarely line up exactly, there is no box, and the result is hard to sell as a finished deck. For a single copy, such as a gift, a print-on-demand service is the better fit; the guide on batch printing or print on demand explains the difference. If you want to sell decks, hand them to customers or give them out in numbers, professional printing is the right route, and the price per deck is known in advance.

Printing tarot cards in five steps
- Prepare your artwork: the face of every card, the back and the box. The finished card measures 70 x 120 mm; you design on a 74 x 124 mm canvas with 2 mm bleed and a 4 mm safe zone inside the cut line, which at 300 dpi is about 873 x 1464 pixels. A compact 50 x 90 mm format is also possible. All measurements are in the tarot card size and print template guide.
- Get your price: choose the card count (30 to 1,500) and the quantity in the printing calculator. Orders go in steps of 12, from 12 to 192 decks. If you need about 20 decks, order 24 at 14.90 EUR per deck.
- Pay at checkout: the amount is paid up front. You do not need to upload or approve files beforehand.
- Approve your artwork: after payment we email you to confirm your artwork. Production starts only after you approve the final artwork.
- Production and delivery: 3 to 4 weeks (15 to 20 working days) after approval, then 7 to 10 working days of insured transit. The cards are printed in Ukraine. This is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed delivery time.
What can be added
- Delivery: calculated at checkout for your country and shown as a separate line.
- Tax: your country's rate is added at checkout and you pay everything together with the order. Nothing is due at the door, and no customs or import duties apply to you.
- Preparation, depending on what you ask us to design: box layout 50 EUR, new card back 50 EUR, PDF guidebook layout 150 EUR, 250 EUR at most. From 60 decks of the same design they are waived. Finished files and small changes to company name, logo or QR code are free.
Delivery to Germany and Austria
The same terms apply to Germany and Austria: you choose your country at checkout, delivery is calculated there and shown before you pay, and the shipment is insured. We do not quote a fixed delivery price per deck because it depends on the destination country and the order. If you need a print run for a trade fair or a launch, plan up to four weeks of production from the day of approval, plus transit. Cancellation, returns and defects
A print-ready order can be cancelled before production begins. If we have already prepared your artwork, we keep the amount that covers the preparation done. Once production has begun, custom-made decks cannot be cancelled or returned only because you changed your mind. For a confirmed manufacturing defect, transit damage or a deviation from the approved mockup, we reprint at our cost. The full wording is in cancelling a custom tarot order: our terms and in the B2B order terms.
Oracle decks and other card counts
The card count is yours to choose, from 30 to 1,500 cards. A 44-card oracle deck with a box costs 12.75 EUR per deck at 12 decks, 153.00 EUR of goods. More on custom oracle cards.
