Custom print for gifts and promotion
Corporate Gift Tarot Decks: Custom Print for 100+ Decks
Branded tarot decks make a corporate or event gift people keep. A custom run of 96 decks costs $11.90 per deck ($1,142.40), 120 decks $11.90 ($1,428.00) and 192 decks $10.90 ($2,092.80), with the box and a 48-page printed booklet included. Production takes 3–4 weeks after artwork approval, then 5–9 business days by insured UPS. Orders above 192 are priced by quote. Prices are in US dollars, read live on 2 November 2026.
The short answer: what a custom gift run costs
| Decks per order | Per 78-card deck | Goods total |
|---|---|---|
| 96 | $11.90 | $1,142.40 |
| 120 | $11.90 | $1,428.00 |
| 144 | $11.90 | $1,713.60 |
| 192 | $10.90 | $2,092.80 |
Each figure is for a complete 78-card tarot deck with its printed box and a printed 48-page booklet. The 96, 120 and 144-deck steps share the same unit price, so 120 decks cost only $285.60 more than 96, which is worth knowing if your guest list is 100 and you want a little spare. Delivery is not in the price; it is quoted by destination before you pay.
Quantities are sold in multiples of twelve, from 12 to 192 decks in one order. If you need 100, order 108 or 120 rather than looking for a custom number. For more than 192, ask for a quote.
Where branded tarot decks work as a gift
A tarot deck is an unusual corporate gift, which is exactly its strength: it is light, flat, easy to post and rarely a duplicate of what someone already has. We keep this to what the format genuinely suits.
- Retail promotion. A shop or brand that wants a gift with purchase or a loyalty reward in its own artwork.
- Events and festivals. A mind-body-spirit fair, a launch, a conference table or a pop-up that wants something to hand out or sell.
- Wellness, coaching and creative brands. A set made for clients, a course or a membership, in the house style.
- Publishers and authors. A companion deck that goes with a book.
We do not recommend a deck as a gift for an audience that has no interest in the subject. It works for people who would pick it up themselves, and sits oddly in a bag of generic conference goods.
Budget maths: one number to take to your finance team
Budgets are easier to approve when the whole cost is on one page. Here is a worked example for a gift of 120 decks.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| 120 custom decks at $11.90 | $1,428.00 |
| Artwork preparation (box, back, booklet layout), free from 60 decks | $0.00 |
| Insured delivery | Quoted by destination |
That is $11.90 a gift, with no layout charge, before delivery. The same job at 36 decks would be $536.40 of goods plus a one-off $250 of preparation ($50 box, $50 back, $150 booklet layout), or $786.40, which is about $21.84 a deck. At 24 decks it is $357.60 plus $250, or $607.60. That gap is why the free-from-60 threshold matters: below it, a large share of the cost is setup; above it, you are paying only for the cards.
If your artwork is already print-ready and matches our template, there is no preparation charge at any quantity. The template is free on the printing specification page.
Lead time: working back from your date
Count from the day the artwork is approved, not from the day you ask. Production takes 3–4 weeks (15–20 business days), followed by 5–9 business days of insured UPS transit. The order of events is simple: you pay first, then there is an artwork confirmation call, then the digital proof, then print. Nothing is printed before you approve the proof.
For an event date, plan roughly four to six weeks from approval to your door, and add the days you will take to get a proof right. These are planning estimates; the destination and the carrier service move the second number. If a date is fixed, say so in the quote request and we will tell you honestly whether it can be met.
What you send and what we return
You send print-ready files for the card faces, the back, the box and the booklet, or ask us to lay them out under the preparation charges above. Private-label logo edits are free. We return a digital proof, and after your approval we print on 350 gsm laminated card with a hidden black core, then ship insured. We do not offer a physical printed sample today, so the proof is where you check spelling, colour and the logo.
The printed booklet stays in custom runs. If you want your message in it — a welcome, a meaning for each card, a brand story — that is where to put it.
Gift-run checklist before you request a quote
A short brief saves a round of emails. Before you send the quote request, have these answers ready:
- Quantity. The next multiple of twelve above your guest or customer count, plus a few spares.
- Artwork. Print-ready files, or a request for layout help, which carries the one-off charges below 60 decks.
- Booklet text. A brand message, a card-meaning booklet, or a custom page of your own.
- Delivery address and date. Delivery is a separate line, so the destination and the event date are what turn a price into a plan.
- Who approves the proof. A deck often has two or three internal reviewers; name one person with the final say so the proof does not stall.
With these, the quote can come back with real numbers instead of a request for more detail. If your quantity is above 192, say how many, and whether the order can be split across delivery dates.
One more practical point: decide early whether the deck is a gift or a product. A gift run is usually one design in one quantity. If you may also sell the deck afterwards, in your shop or at an event stall, it is worth ordering the next step up the ladder, because the price per deck falls and unsold decks keep. A tarot deck does not go off, so the risk of ordering a few extra is mostly the cash you tie up, and the ladder tells you exactly how much that is.
Other formats for a gift
A 78-card tarot is not the only option. At 12 units, a 44-card oracle deck is $12.90 per deck, a 36-card deck (Lenormand or astrology) is $11.54, a 54-card playing-card deck is $10.77 and a 50-card affirmation or coaching deck is $20.11. If your gift is a coaching or wellbeing product, the smaller formats are often a better fit than a full tarot.
