Gold Rainbow Foil Tarot Cards — 1909 Classic Art
Holographic Crystal Foil Tarot Cards — 1909 Classic Art
Every deck on this page reproduces the 1909 illustrations by Pamela Colman Smith, published under Arthur Edward Waite's direction. That artwork is the tradition almost every tarot book, course and card-meaning site teaches from, so whatever you read about a card will match the card you are holding. We print these decks ourselves. 78 cards, cloth bag and gift box in every set, plus an electronic guidebook (PDF) by personal link after purchase.
Why the 1909 illustrations matter
The 1909 deck was the first widely published tarot to illustrate all 56 minor arcana as scenes rather than geometric pip cards. That single decision is why it became the deck beginners learn on: you can read the picture before you know the system. If you are buying a first deck, or buying a deck to study alongside a book, this is the tradition to buy into.
What we are and are not
These are our own printings of the 1909 public-domain illustrations, in finishes we make: foil, holographic, borderless standard cardstock. They are not a licensed or official edition, and we do not claim to be the original publisher.
