Wholesale Tarot Cards: Shipping to Europe and the UK, Minimum Order Explained

Minimum order to buy wholesale in Europe or the UK

The minimum is 12 decks, full stop — the same rule for a shop in London, Berlin or anywhere else. No trade account, application or approval step exists; trade pricing of $15.90 a deck at 12 applies automatically through the normal Shopify checkout. Orders run in multiples of 12 up to 192 decks per design.

Stock and Made to Order can be combined in one order. If you mix editions, each selected in-stock edition needs at least 5 decks to reach your 12-deck total; a single Made to Order design still follows the 12–192 rule on its own.

How delivery to Europe and the UK is charged

Delivery is calculated at checkout: you choose your country, the delivery cost appears as its own line next to the deck price, and you see the full amount before you pay. Every parcel ships insured with UPS. For an EU address, your country's VAT is calculated in the same step and paid together with the order. For the UK, 20% VAT is not added at checkout; it is paid to UPS on delivery.

A worked example: 12 decks for a UK shop

Choose your decks

That is $190.80 for 12 decks in goods. Delivery is added at checkout as its own line, as is any selected artwork preparation. UK VAT (20%) is not charged at checkout: it is paid to UPS on delivery. For an EU address, VAT is calculated at checkout and paid with the order, so nothing is due at the door. For other destinations, see customs and import duty on wholesale tarot orders.

A hard deck-count minimum vs. an order-value minimum

Several European and UK tarot and gift distributors set their wholesale entry point as a minimum order value — commonly a threshold stated in euros — rather than a fixed unit count across a single design. That structure makes the true unit-count cost of entry hard to know before you ask, because it depends on the mix and price of whatever you put in the basket.

Dark Forest states the minimum the other way round: 12 decks of one design, at a published per-deck price, so the goods total is known before you start — $190.80 in goods at the 12-deck price, with delivery calculated at checkout for your country. A shop comparing offers can see the price for both sides without requesting a quote from either.

Delivery and VAT by destination

Delivery is calculated at checkout for every destination, shown as its own line before you pay, and every parcel is insured. Within the EU, your country's VAT is calculated in the same step and paid with the order. In the UK, 20% VAT is paid to UPS on delivery. For the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and elsewhere, any import duty follows local rules. The deck price itself, $15.90 down to $10.90 by quantity, is the same everywhere.

Terms that apply to every EU and UK order

• Resale is unrestricted. You may resell goods you purchase and set your own retail prices, including on Amazon or Etsy.
• No dropshipping. Orders ship to you, not directly to your customer.
• Payment in full at checkout. No net terms or financing are offered today.
• 14-day returns on unopened stock. Original shipping is not refunded and return shipping to the US warehouse is the buyer's cost; Made to Order and custom goods are not returnable for a change of mind once production has started.
• Insurance is included in every delivery price, and a confirmed manufacturing defect is replaced free, including replacement shipping.

Full wording lives on the order terms page.

Where the decks are made

Dark Forest decks are made in Ukraine. Made-to-order decks are produced there and take 3–4 weeks. Ready stock ships within 1-2 business days: from the US warehouse to US orders, from the EU warehouse to EU orders and by UPS Express to other countries. No further production geography is stated.
